Assistant Buyer Job Description: FALA Technologies is looking for a passionate assistant buyer to support our purchasing department with the selection and procurement of products. The assistant buyer's responsibilities include maintaining positive vendor relations, preparing retail, and pricing strategies, placing, and tracking purchase orders, managing inventory, sourcing, vendor profiles and keeping track of market trends.

  This position is for someone looking to become a team member at a world-renowned glass lighting manufacturing facility in Beacon NY. We are looking for someone who can work in the Glass Finishing Shop (Cold Shop); responsibilities include but not limited to working with various cold working equipment and machinery to finish glass products and some data entry.   

  POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment within the Slate Hill production facility. It will be responsible for examining electrical and mechanical equipment to diagnose problems, disassemble equipment and repair or replace broken or worn-out parts. Adjustment, lubrication, and preventative maintenance will be conducted by this position and/or, at its direction, by plant operators. This position will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to schedule required maintenance activities and associated process shutdowns if required.   This position is for someone looking to become a team member at a world-renowned glass lighting manufacturing facility in Beacon NY.  We are looking for an experienced glass blower looking to hone their glass working skills in a production setting. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a hot shop setting, a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing equipment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, welcomes new ideas, can take directions from the team leader and who works well with others in a team environment.
