Sono-Tek Corporation is seeking a versatile, creative, and highly organized Graphics Designer/Marketing Specialist to coordinate and execute marketing activities across the entire company.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and taking ownership of a wide variety of responsibilities. As Sono-Tek's primary in-house marketing resource, this individual will serve as the company's marketing department, coordinating marketing initiatives, supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, and managing day-to-day marketing activities.

The position has no direct reports but involves significant collaboration with executive management, Sales, Engineering, outside marketing consultants, distributors, and other departments. The successful candidate will help translate company priorities into effective marketing initiatives while independently managing projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities span digital marketing, graphic design, corporate presentations, investor relations materials, social media, trade shows, video production, website management, branding, and internal company communications.

While graphic design and creative capabilities remain important, Sono-Tek places significant value on candidates who embrace artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance marketing effectiveness.

Compensation Annual Salary Range: $55,000–$70,000, depending on qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills.

Marketing Coordination & Strategy

• Work closely with executive management and Sales leadership to help develop, coordinate, and execute Sono-Tek's company-wide marketing strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination for marketing activities across the organization.
• Organize and participate in regular marketing meetings with Sales teams and other departments.
• Coordinate marketing activities supporting new products, applications, markets, and company initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, establishing priorities, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate with outside marketing consultants, vendors, and service providers.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, consistency, and efficiency.

Marketing Materials & Graphic Design

• Create, update, and maintain marketing materials, including product brochures, application literature, product cut sheets, presentations, and sales support materials.
• Maintain consistent corporate branding across marketing materials, presentations, templates, signage, and communications.
• Develop graphics, illustrations, and visual content to communicate Sono-Tek's products and technologies.
• Create and edit technical illustrations, equipment mockups, and conceptual graphics as needed.
• Design and coordinate ordering of business cards, letterhead, promotional products, signage, and other branded materials.
• Work with Engineering and Sales personnel to translate technical information into clear, professional marketing materials.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for printing, graphics production, and promotional materials.
• Maintain organized digital libraries of marketing files, graphics, presentations, and creative assets.

Digital Marketing, Website & Social Media

• Maintain and update the Sono-Tek website, including product information, applications, company news, events, and announcements.
• Create and publish content for LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other appropriate platforms.
• Coordinate website and SEO initiatives with outside marketing consultants.
• Participate in regular SEO and digital marketing meetings.
• Support the creation of digital marketing campaigns and email marketing graphics.
• Review website content periodically to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
• Monitor basic website, SEO, and social media performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Corporate Presentations & Investor Relations

• Create and update presentations for company-wide employee meetings, quarterly Board of Directors meetings, and annual stockholder meetings.
• Work with executive management and the company's investor relations firm to create and maintain investor presentations and supporting materials.
• Assist with the design and layout of Sono-Tek's annual report.
• Develop graphics, charts, and visual materials for corporate and financial presentations.
• Maintain professional and consistent branding across corporate and investor relations materials.
• Coordinate updates to investor materials for conferences, meetings, and website publication.

Photography, Video & Multimedia

• Take, edit, organize, and maintain photographs of company equipment, products, applications, employees, and corporate events.
• Create and edit videos highlighting Sono-Tek's products, technologies, applications, and company activities.
• Manage video content for the company website, YouTube, and other distribution platforms.
• Create visual content for use in sales presentations, trade shows, marketing literature, and digital communications.
• Organize and maintain the company's photography and video libraries for future use.

Trade Shows & Sales Support

• Coordinate the creation and production of trade show graphics, posters, displays, and promotional materials.
• Develop booth layouts and visual plans to support trade show participation.
• Coordinate with Sales personnel and distributors regarding trade show marketing requirements.
• Organize pre- and post-trade-show marketing meetings and assist with follow-up activities.
• Maintain and distribute current marketing materials to Sales personnel and distributors.
• Notify Sales teams when new or updated marketing resources become available.
• Support the development of sales presentations and customer-specific marketing materials.

Internal Communications & Corporate Branding

• Support company-wide communications, employee events, and internal presentations.
• Take and organize photographs of company activities and employee events for internal and external use.
• Coordinate employee recognition materials, including service anniversary gifts and presentations.
• Maintain consistent company branding across employee communications, email signatures, business cards, and internal materials.
• Assist with facility signage, graphics, and other corporate branding initiatives.
• Help promote Sono-Tek's company culture through appropriate internal communications and social media content.

AI, Technology & Continuous Improvement

• Actively explore and utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve efficiency and quality across marketing activities.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for content creation, graphic design, presentations, video editing, research, and other marketing tasks.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and streamline marketing processes.
• Stay informed about emerging marketing technologies and recommend practical applications that improve productivity.
• Continuously seek ways to accomplish marketing objectives more efficiently while maintaining professional quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and corporate branding standards.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2–6 years of relevant experience in marketing, digital marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of producing professional marketing content.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of graphic design, presentation design, and digital content creation tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and website content management.
• Comfortable using AI tools and learning new technologies to improve productivity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical personnel, Sales teams, executive management, and outside vendors.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar graphic design platforms.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT and AI-assisted graphic, presentation, or video creation tools.
• Familiarity with WordPress website management.
• Experience with video editing, photography, or multimedia production.
• Understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
• Experience creating technical marketing materials or communicating complex products and technologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, scientific, or technology-oriented company.
• Familiarity with trade show marketing, large-format graphics, and promotional materials.
• Experience with Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Basic knowledge of website analytics, digital marketing tools, or HTML.
