Selux Corporation is hiring a Powder Coater/Line Operator (Hanger) in their Highland, NY manufactuaring location.

This role plays a key part in our coating process by preparing and handling parts for powder coating, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the finishing line.

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr. 

• Hang and rack parts in preparation for the coating process
• Ensure proper spacing and alignment of materials for quality coverage
• Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor
• Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies 
• Remove finished parts from the line and prepare for next steps
• Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others
• Must work within the confines of Selux’s PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and dust masks.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• 1-2 years of industrial coating system required in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical)
• Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead.
• Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs
• Frequently required to use hands to handle objects
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision.
