• Set up Swiss CNC lathes (Star or similar) including tooling, offsets, and program loading.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and work instructions.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances.
• Monitor machine operations, tool wear, and part quality during production runs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are in good working condition.
• Document setups, process changes, and inspection results per company standards.
• Collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and production leads to optimize efficiency.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• 5+ years of Swiss CNC machine setup experience (Star, etc.).
• Strong understanding of CNC programming concepts and tooling applications.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and applying GD&T.
• Skilled in precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• College Degree or significant work experience 
• Competitive salary based on experience: $60,000–$90,000 per year.
