What Success Looks Like
As the Showroom Experience Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for showroom visitors, providing product knowledge and lighting demonstrations to customers ensuring they have a high-touch, personalized experience in collaboration with our Showroom Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of RBW's showroom, including retail management, owning showroom events, and operational logistics. Playing a key role in delivering a seamless, premium customer experience while ensuring successful showroom events, from small intimate gatherings to large-scale installations. You will also manage our retail inventory and support the development of ongoing operational procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of our space. 

 

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for day-to-day management of retail and facility operations including but not limited to overall appearance and cleanliness of the showroom space, inventory, product samples, lighting education, and guest experience.
  • Responsible for showcasing lighting collections through product displays and innovative ideas.
  • Track and support sales volume through POS to ensure accuracy of order details, shipping, and successful delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement retail promotions and seasonal product launches.
  • Track operational expenses and support budgets for retail, event hosting, and consumables.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to schedule, launch and promote seamless showroom events while ensuring a premium guest experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics for showroom management and events such as venue setup, A/V needs, catering, product installations, and event flow management. 
  • Manage, coach, and develop showroom staff on product knowledge and achieving sales targets.
  • Responsible for staffing and schedules for day-to-day operations of the showroom and events.
  • Support VP of Sales & Marketing with additional functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of retail and inventory management experience within a high-end showroom environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong operational background and experience in event coordination and project management, with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Budget management and financial tracking experience for retail and event operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with POS systems and operational software.
  • Interest in design and lighting industries, with knowledge of interior design trends a plus.
