Machine Operator - Roda Partition Assembler - 1st Shift

We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our open 1st Shift Partition Assembler Machine Operator position in New Paltz, NY.

  • Our 1st shift team works Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • $18 to $22 an hour depending on experience. (More for experienced Operators)

Wage Description: $18 to $22 an hour depending on experience. (More for experienced Operators) 

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

 

As a Partition Assembler Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our Roda Partition Assembler machines. Your primary duties will include ensuring the highest quality of products while maximizing production efficiency. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and organized work environment and lead production on the Partition Assembler.

 

  • Set up and operate Roda Partition Assembler machines to achieve production and quality control metrics.
  • Monitor the entire Partition Assembly process to ensure quality.
  • Execute machine setups to maximize efficiency and address challenges as they arise
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our stringent standards.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Train and assist other team members as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will either have prior partition assembler Operation experience or Machine Operator experience working with machines that require problemsolving, mechanical abilities, team work and passion to learn on the job.   • Strict adherence to safety procedure
  • Prior experience working with folder gluers preferred
  • Experience operating a high-speed machines preferred
  • High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience
  • Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A passion for producing a quality product
  • Quick learner who can adapt to change.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Attentive, teachable, and dependable.
  • Willingness to accept new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
