ErtelAlsop, a manufacturing company located in Kingston, NY is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for maintaining asset health for all plant equipment, systems, offices, and structures by performing needed inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and modifications to equipment and structures of the manufacturing facility.

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 / Hour

Responsibilities include:

• Perform Daily Preventative Maintenance work
• Perform Necessary Mechanical and Electrical Repairs
• Perform Necessary Mechanical and Electrical Troubleshooting
• Maintain computerized maintenance records
• Responsible for safety of themselves and others

• Must be able to read/write/comprehend English.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 5 + years experience as a maintenance mechanic/technician.
• Must have experience on installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
• Must have experience with three phase electrical systems as well as single phase and control systems.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant
• Must be able to work overtime and respond on off hours to plant emergencies
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to complete work orders in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production facility
• Knowledge of PLC controls and software is a PLUS!
• Must have the ability to wear respirator and required safety equipment
• Must have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
