ErtelAlsop, a manufacturing leader in liquid filtration since 1932, who serves various markets throughout the world including Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, and Specialty Chemicals, is looking for looking for a motivated Sales professional to join our team as a sales manager for the Food & Beverage market. Applications served include distilled spirits, wine, beer, sweeteners, fruit juice, soft drinks, vinegar and others. 


This role requires the ability to learn and understand how filtration works at a functional level and translate that knowledge into customer support and sales. You will be expected to develop intimate product knowledge and to learn to speak the language of a unique marketplace. 


The ideal candidate for our Sales position should have a proven record of successful sales growth.  You must

 be an energetic, positive, and organized professional who is able to effectively create relationships with customers and members of the distribution channel.  You should have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.  Cross-functional communication between Sales, Operations,  
and Engineering is a key success factor within our organization. 


This is a highly active, results-oriented position. Candidates should thrive on meeting and exceeding goals.




  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by VP of Sales; sales targets are achieved via direct sales activity with customers and by working with National and international distribution.  
  • Establish positive relationships with customers and prospects to successfully promote ErtelAlsop filtration solutions and capabilities 
  • Provide filtration technical support in various food & beverage applications to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations 
  • Report and communicate all business opportunities, solutions, concepts, and strategies to ErtelAlsop management through the CRM and the sales funnel 
  • Conduct filtration product seminars, distributor training, participate in professional organizations, and events such as Trade Shows as needed 
  • Must have interest and knowledge of principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and logically 
  • Develop new business, nurture and grow key accounts
  • Manage channel partners for the market
  • Identify growth opportunities via product development and new applications
  • Travel required as directed by the VP of Sales 




  • 5+ Years experience in Business to Business product sales preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to engage and learn from others
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly and logically
  • Fully computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM Systems a plus
  • Excellent math skills (must be good with numbers)
  • Excellent problem solving, time management, and organization skills
  • Clean, Valid Driver’s License
