The Council of Industry, located in Newburgh NY is looking for a Part Time HR Assistant. Office or HR experience preferred but not necessary; willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work independently and collaborate to implement best practices. This individual would have an interest in creating office efficiencies and providing customer service.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week
Schedule: The ideal candidate will work an agreed upon schedule during operating hours (M-F 8am-5pm). No weekends or evenings required.
Ideal Start Date: December 2021

Daily administration of company’s applicant tracking system, including posting job requisitions, screening candidates, and managing reports.
Assist in managing workforce initiatives including coordinating and tracking training opportunities.
Daily use of database, email, calendar management and invoicing when necessary.
