Machine Operator Apprentice - 1st & 2nd Shift

Elna Magnetics is looking for dedicated, conscientious individuals in our custom and gapping departments. If you are ambitious, like learning new things and want a career rather than a job we want to talk to you. 

We provide standard magnetic cores and accessories as an authorized distributor of several product lines and through our manufacturing services department we machine custom products to meet customer specifications

Our Machine Operators are responsible for operating various pieces of machine shop equipment used to manufacture magnetic products. Operators may perform setups and adjustments on specific machines.

• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Are able to make mathematical calculations efficiently and accurately
• Experience using various measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and microscopes
• Machining experience such as ferrite machining and/or operating surface grinders
• Sharp eye for detail and a team player
• Good communication skills
• Are eager to learn new skills and seeking career progression
• Are a US citizen due to ITAR regulations.

You’ll be with us:

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 1^st Shift  - Monday – Thursday,  6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.– (10 hour shift)
• 2^nd Shift – Monday – Thursday, 4:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. - 10% shift differential applies
