CNC Machinist/Operator Apprentice – 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

Elna Magnetics, through our manufacturing service department machines custom products to meet customer specifications.  We are experiencing long-term increased demands for our products provided to the medical, military, and semiconductor markets. 

We are looking for motivated, reliable people who have some experience in operating Haas CNC machines. Are you ready and willing to take on new things ? Are you goal-oriented? This may be the job for you!  We currently have openings for 1^st and 2^nd shifts.

Our CNC Operators are responsible for not only operating Haas CNC machines but also a variety of machine shop equipment used in the manufacturing of gapped and custom magnetic products including the setup and qualification run for a particular job.

Factors for success:

• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Are able to make mathematical calculations efficiently and accurately
• Sharp eye for detail and a team player
• Experience with drawings, manufacturing instructions (MI’s), and inductance meters
• General working knowledge of grinding equipment to include surface grinders and vertical spindle and CNC machining centers
• Understanding and working knowledge of MasterCAM and/or G-code is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Are eager to learn new skills and seeking career progression
• Are a US citizen due to ITAR regulations.

You’ll be with us:

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 1^st Shift – Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – (10 hour shift)
• 2^nd Shift – Monday – Thursday , 4:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.– 2^nd 10% shift differential applies
