The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, first piece, in process and finished goods; maintaining appropriate records to comply with Company and customer documentation requirements.




  • Perform in-process inspection as required to assure adherence to specifications and procedures.
  • Conduct complete first piece inspection to assure process is correct before production run begins.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials, mechanical parts and subassemblies; mark and complete appropriate documentation to assure compliance with requirements and specifications.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Maintain various inspection fixtures, gages and measuring devices so appropriate measurements are made and documentation can be provided.
  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment to assure accurate readings.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Ability to travel upon occasion.



  • Three or more years related experience required.
  • Must have the ability to perform most inspection operations with some assistance.
  • Ability to use and read micrometers, calipers, electronic test and other measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical, electronic drawings and blueprints.
  • Must be detail oriented to keep accurate records and files.
  • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
  • Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
  • Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction
  • A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
  • A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
  • Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma


  • Lift, carry, push and or pull up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Sit, stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Work in an industrial environment wearing hearing protection, and other appropriate protective gear.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 to $17.50 Depending Upon Experience

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Thursday, occasional over-time on Friday’s
