    Zierick Manufacturing Corporation is currently accepting applications for a Quality Control Inspector/Manager position in Mount Kisco, NY. 

    Responsibilities

    • Support set-up, in-process and last piece inspections.
    • Complete Set-up inspection reports.                         
    • Set Up and maintain QC files.
    • Inspect all shipments received from approved suppliers.
    • Complete QA receiving reports.
    • System- Understanding the use of set-up, in-process, and final inspection.
    • Maintain Approved Suppliers.
    • Record and Interpret SPC Data and report results to QC Manager
    • Perform Capability Study
    • Understanding SPC Analysis
    • Train other employees in SPC and use of inspection instruments, and inspection methods.
    • Maintain Calibration and Gauge Instrumentation Program.
    • Perform all internal Calibration and record data into data base.
    • Participate in internal audits.
    • PPAP
    • Customer Interaction
    • Timely corrective actions

    Qualifications

    • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Metal Stamping environment.
    • Good written and verbal skills.
    • Experience inspecting machined / stamped parts with tolerances down to .0001”.
    • Familiarity with SPC, ISO, calibration and gauge programs.
    • Ability to write documentation and understanding of inspection
    • Knowledge of ISO

    Since its inception in 1919 Zierick Manufacturing Corporation has been a valued supplier of standard and custom engineered stamped, metal products to end users in the electrical and electronic industries. End users for our products typically fit into a classification of being original equipment manufacturers (OEM). This type of manufacturing, termed electronic packaging and production, is considered a light industry and usually involves an end product based upon an electronic or electrical design, with the end product designed to meet requirements in industries such as appliance manufacturing, automotive electronics, communications, computers, consumer electronics, electronic components, industrial controls, medical electronics and office and business equipment.

     

    Over the years the company’s products have developed into a broad range of interconnection hardware items, such as lugs, clips and splices, electronic and electrical wiring devices for printed circuit board interconnections and packaging, such as quick disconnect terminals, pins, posts, test points, IDC’s, sockets, solder lugs and screw terminals.
