    Are you a graphic designer looking to share your talents and grow with a progressive local company?


    Selux Coproration is now accepting applications for a Graphic Designer to join their team in Highland, NY. This position is ideal for a creative individual looking to work as a team and independent enough to meet deadlines and prioritize. The selected candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Experience in Quark & HTML preferred as well.



    This individual will work under the guidance of Product Marketing Lead and Director of Lighting Solutions responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design of solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. Oversee the updating and changes needed for all projects related to corporate communications collateral to ensure the integrity of corporate branding is maintained.  Designs or creates quality & creative graphic artwork for brochures, literatures, manuals, websites, books, catalogs & advertising materials, utilizing up to date knowledge of graphic art standards and equipment. Works in close cooperation with Product Management to combine graphic design and technical information to create technical product communication.


    • Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, and company website
    • Responsible for managing and prioritizing project lists relating to communication and marketing initiatives in cooperation with Product Marketing Lead.
    • Oversee all aspects of industry events ensuring Selux brand is being represented.
    • Design and management of all aspects from creative concept to administrative coordination of all trade show spaces.  
    • Determine format and general design of information within brand guidelines.
    • Create and prepare high quality artwork for brochures, websites, electronic media, manuals, books, catalogs and/or other advertising materials based on existing or newly created layouts and designs.
    • Develop and create original, creative ideas from rough ideas and creates proposals for finished advertising and marketing materials routinely.
    • Proof projects, spec sheets, layouts and print-ready designs for accuracy, quality and aesthetic appearance.
    • Create the marketing related materials for exhibition booths or special events, as needed.
    • Partner with Product Managers to create advanced technical product communication, including but not limited to industry award submittals, solution brochures and social media teasers.
    • Proficient use of Creative Suite, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, HTML and CS5.
    • Maintains awareness of design trends, participating in continuing education annually to update knowledge and skills.
    • Maintain a positive attitude to contribute to a positive team environment.


    • Bachelor degree and 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience, or equivalent.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Quark & HTML.
