    Do you have experience in the electrical field and a desire to teach?




    SUNY Ulster is looking for an instructor to teach Electrical Basics for Fall 2018. This is a part-time position and class will be held Monday evenings. 


    The ideal candidate has experience in the manufacturing field, and is ready to share their expertise and industry knowledge with the next generation. 


    • Curriculum information will be provided to the selected instructor to manage.
    • The course will cover basic electrical equipment, sizing wires and over-current protection, and introduction to the National Electrical Code, installing wires and conduit, theory of series and parallel circuits and measuring voltage and current.
    • This course requires a lab component, which offers a hands-on experience. 



    • Hands on Electrical Experience Required
    • Some education preferred but all experienced candidates will be considered
