Begin a career with a future!

Tool making is a technical trade with a long history, beginning with early man’s need for basic tools. It evolved over time as the need for making interchangeable parts developed in the 1800's, to the challenging and creative work of today.

If you like working with your hands, solving problems and making things, consider joining Zierick’s apprenticeship program. Make money while you learn. Our four year program combines on-line education, on-the-job training and opportunities to continue your formal education with an area college while you earn your New York State Apprentice card.

    Qualifications

Zierick has been making electrical connectors in New York for nearly 100 years. Our tools are built and maintained to hold tight tolerances, using an array of CNC equipment as well as traditional machine shop tools. A solid background in tool making can lead to opportunities in design and process engineering.
